Ear Mounted Accelerometry and Photoplethysmography Sensor

Ear Mounted Accelerometry and Photoplethysmography Sensor

Detection of eating behaviour is traditionally done using video and manual annotation. We are using machine learning to analyse data from an ear mounted sensor that measures accelerometry and photoplethysmography to detect eating behaviours. Using an ear mounted sensor is assumed less invasive than being recorded on video, and lets the participant eat in a more relaxed and natural way.
